After School Program

The WBGC After School Program (ASP) at our three Clubhouses and McKinley School-Based site provides a safe, engaging and supportive environment where children can learn and grow through a variety of enrichment activities. This includes sports, academic support, STEM, the arts, and so much more.


NEW! Every child who is enrolled in WBGC's 2026-27 After School Program will receive a complimentary WBGC membership which provides them with access to programs and member events across all three Clubhouses during their ASP participation.


Key program details:


  • Dates: Our ASP program will operate from Tuesday, September 8, 2026 to Friday, June 11, 2027 at all three Clubhouses and our McKinley School-Based site.
  • Early Dismissal School Days: The program is available on planned early dismissal days that are part of the Fairfield (for our Southport Clubhouse and McKinley School-Based site) and Bridgeport (for our Madison Avenue and Smilow-Burroughs Clubhouses) public school calendars.
  • School's Out Days: ASP participants are eligible to attend our School's Out Day programming at a discounted rate of $30/day. Please visit our School's Out webpage for more information.
  • Sibling Discount: NEW! If families have multiple children enrolled in an of our After School programs, each child enrolled after the first child will be eligible for a 10% discount. This discount will be activated by the Clubhouse Membership Director upon registration.

After School Programming includes extended Open Gym times, Power Hour (dedicated homework space and staff), outdoor play, frequent STEM and creative arts and monthly special activities. Whether members attend daily or a few times weekly, throughout the year or certain seasons, they are bound to have fun, learn, and make new friends!
