REGISTER FOR AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM*

* All WBGC fees are subsidized as a primary focus of our mission is to give access to all. To account for these subsidies, the full fee price will come up on your registration; however, please be assured that your card will not be charged until the requested tier is reviewed, approved, and adjustments are made to your account balance.

Wakeman Boys & Girls Club’s after-school program, serving 6 through 12 year olds, is exempt from the State of Connecticut childcare licensure as per the Office of Early Childhood. All Wakeman BGC programs adhere to the membership and safety standards set forth by Boys & Girls Club of America.

Tiered Pricing

We understand families have differing abilities to pay for programs, so to make the Club more accessible for all, we offer a tiered pricing system for our After School Program, School’s Out Program, and Summer Camp. Please choose the tier most fitting for your family. All members will have the same experience with their peers regardless of which tier a family selects. Tier selections are confidential and can be selected online. Families should understand Tier A is the base parent fee charged for program; families should pay this price if they can. ASP rates do not include days off from school and are not prorated based on missed days, Club closures, vacation days or snow. They do include school early dismissal days. Our School's Out Program is available (fee applies) on scheduled vacation days.

Wakeman Walkers

We will continue our Wakeman Walkers Program from Black Rock School, Geraldine Claytor Academy, and St. Ann Academy this school year. Wakeman BGC staff walk members from school to the clubhouse. Wakeman Walkers operates throughout the school year, rain or shine. Please email elisa@wakemanclub.org if you plan on joining the Wakeman Walkers program.

The weekly ASP rate includes programming on all Bridgeport Public School’s scheduled early release days. The clubhouse opens at 1pm on scheduled school early dismissal days for members enrolled in the After School Program; the clubhouse does not open early when schools close early due to weather or other unexpected circumstances.
