Wakeman provides a wide variety of one-day programming aimed at providing unique experiences for the participants. Advanced registration is required for all programs listed below, and participants must be current Wakeman members in order to participate unless noted.
Keystone Club members will help coordinate this fast paced basketball tournament from 2:15pm–4:15pm on November 8th. 2Ball is a game where teams of two shoot from 5 numbered spots on the floor. Teams have 60 seconds to rack up as many points as they can! Players will have time to practice before stepping up for their timed round. Team scores will be combined after three rounds to reveal the winners.

Snowball Dance Boys & Girls Grades 4-6
A winter dance organized and chaperoned by the Torch Club. The dance will be on Friday January 27th from 7:00–
9:00pm. Events for the night will include music dancing, food, dodgeball, capture the flag, two ball and a dancing

Camp Ruben Boys & Girls 1-5
This is a mini-camp that we hold for members on days off from school. Each camp is run by our enthusiastic Jr. Staff and Athletic Director Ruben Goodwin. Typical days include dodge ball; Capture the Flag, Kickball, 2 Ball, basketball, game room tournaments, and other exciting activities. The children will also receive lunch (pizza & drinks).
A night out with the guys is just what this program calls for. During this event, Keystoners will entertain members in gym
games, relay races, tournaments and more! This event will be held on Monday, November 7th from 6:30pm–8:30pm.
Dinner will be served.

Kid's Night Out Boys & Girls Grades 1-2
During this night of fun, Keystoners will entertain members in games like dodgeball, kickball, relay races gameroom
tournaments and more! This event will be held on October 11th from 6:30pm–8:30pm. Pizza will be served.

Open Resume Night Boys & Girls Grades 10-12
Starting the college application process? Feeling a little lost? Come down to Wakeman and get some tips on how to
set up your resume, brush up your interview skills and get a head start on the college process. This is a free program,
offered to members and non-members. Youth will be able to sit with a professional for 20 minutes between 5:30pm
and 8:30pm on Wednesday, September 14th and gain assistance building resumes, developing college essays or
gaining interview experience. This is a one night event and spots are limited so sign up fast! Please call the Club to

Dodgeball Tournament Boys & Girls Grades 3-5
With the aid of the Torch Club, Wakeman staff and Director Ruben Goodwin, Wakeman will hold its 12th dodgeball tournament. Members are asked to gather a team of five or six players (single players will be placed on a team). Players will participate in a round-robin double elimination tournament, which will take place in the Warren Gymnasium.
To register please fill out a registration form beginning October 13th, located at the front desk. All participants will receive a T-shirt and have pizza and drinks. The tournament will be held November 11th from 11:00am–2:00pm.

Letters to Santa Boys & Girls Grades 1-2
Come join the Wakeman Torch Club for a night of holiday cheer as we host Letters to Santa. Participants will write their own letter to Santa, enjoy a holiday arts and crafts project, and finish watching a holiday movie. Holiday treats and Santa’s favorite, cookies and milk will be served!
Each participant will also receive a little surprise from Santa!
