-Co-organizer of Wakeman’s first Girls Summit.
- Kara is a leader among peers with determination, concern for others, kindness and generosity.

Kate McManus
Volunteer Teen Coach of Year
-Coached 4 years Pee Wee and Girls Junior Basketball Leagues. - Kate displays an approach of calmness and confidence in leading the teams and girls she has instructed.

Adult Volunteer of the Year
-Chaperoned 8 years in Great Futures Mentoring at  McKinley.
-Kathy gives compassionate supervision, guidance and encouragement to 200 mentees and 250+ teen mentors.

-150+ Mentor hours in 3 years.
- Megan brought incredible enthusiasm, compassion and politeness to her mentees, ready with a positive approach, smile and willingness to listen.

- His many activities included National Tortilla chip day, Kickball Tournament, and Friday afternoon concession stands.
