Late Pick 

Up Policy

The Smilow Burroughs Summer Camp Program ends at 4:00pm each day (for regular camp) and 5:30pm (for after care participants) to which your child is registered for. All campers not signed up for the after care program must be picked up by 4:00pm daily. 

Prompt pickup is vital: staff have work/personal obligations after 4:00pm, late pickup incurs extra costs to pay for part-time staff, and the Club has specific hours and camper-to- staff ratio to comply to.  Please consider weather/traffic conditions and have an alternative pick-up plan with neighbors, relatives or friends to ensure on time pick-up.  

Campers who are scheduled for 4:00pm departure who are not picked on time,  a late fee of $5 will be charged for every five minutes, or part of, after closing time. Time is based on front desk clock. Example: parent is charged $5 for 4:03 pickup; $20 for 4:17 pickup.  Fees are per child, not per family.

Campers who are scheduled for 5:30pm departure who are not picked on time, a late fee of $5 will be charged for every five minutes, or part of, after closing time. Time is based on front desk clock. Example: parent is charged $5 for 5:33 pickup; $20 for 5:47pm pickup.  Fees are per child, not per family.

Payment is expected at time of pick up. If no means of immediate payment is possible, parents will be required to pay at check-in next day of camp. If fee is not paid by then, the camper will not be allowed to camp that day.

There will be a maximum fee assessed of $30 per day per child. Clubhouse Director will be sole judge of waiving fees due to any uncontrollable circumstance.

If a parent/guardian does not arrive for pick up within 30 minutes of closing time and staff has not been able to speak with a parent/guardian and/or all other contacts have been exhausted, police will be notified for assistance. 

Repetitive late pick-up or non-payment of late fees may result in suspension of membership privileges.
