Kait joined Wakeman Boys & Girls Club in 2010, serving first as the Development Associate until assuming her current role in 2015. She now oversees fundraising activities that generate $1.9 million annually. Prior to joining Wakeman, Kait worked for Reed Exhibitions and the Christopher Shays for Congress Committee.
Kait graduated from Manhattanville College with a B.A. in American Studies and minor in Sociology. She was a member of the 2013 Fairfield cohort of Leadership Development Roundtable and currently serves on Boys & Girls Clubs of America’s Marketing Advisory Council. Kait was born and raised in Fairfield, and as soon as she was old enough she could be found at Wakeman playing basketball with friends. She took part in every Wakeman activity possible including basketball leagues, summer camps, Junior Staff, and Keystone Club. Outside of work, Kait enjoys traveling, reading, doing crossword puzzles, and watching Top Chef. Wakeman had a tremendous impact on her life, and she loves seeing current members learning and succeeding because of their experiences at the Club.
