Wakeman Boys and Girls Club offers a variety of lacrosse and field hockey programs designed to introduce club members to each sport in a comfortable way. Fall and Spring lacrosse, Fall Field Hockey as well as other activities are held on Wakeman's Turf Field at the Southport Clubhouse.

Fall Field Hockey                                                                                                                          
Girls Grades 5-8

FIELD HOCKEY IS HERE! This fall, Wakeman will offer members the opportunity to participate in field hockey. This six week program will give girls an exciting chance to experience the sport. The goal is to expose girls to a new sport, in which they will be able to enjoy for years to come. During each session, participants will be taught the basic fundamentals of field hockey, while learning the rules of the game. BEGINNERS WELCOME AND ENCOURAGED TO JOIN! 

Registration begins September 6th.

Boys & Girls Grades 1-8

Boys Rhino Clinics
This year, Wakeman has teamed up with Rhino Lacrosse to offer Fall Lacrosse Clinics for boys in grades 1-8! Each week players will be matched up by their ability level. The program will focus on different skills and fundamentals of the game. There will be scrimmages each week to work on game situational training and lacrosse IQ. Coaching Staff will be led by current HS Coaches, and former NCAA Players. All clinics will be held on Wakeman’s Turf Field.
Girls GameBreaker Clinics
This year Wakeman has partnered with GameBreaker to offer Fall Lacrosse Clinics for Girls grades 1-8! Girls who participate will be split up into groups based on age and ability. The clinic will focus on the basic fundamentals of the game. The program will feature scrimmages each week to work on game situational training and lacrosse IQ. Coaching Staff will be led by current HS Coaches, and former NCAA Players. All clinics will be held on Wakeman’s Turf Field.

Registration for boys and girls begins August 9th.
